About this Event 17 November 2021

We are pleased to announce that AIBS have teamed with Tim Rossier, General Manager Building Solutions Asia Pacific, MiTek to deliver a webinar training event on all things Wind, Gravity & Earthquake Assessments in a residential setting

With the recent Earthquake in Victoria on 22 September 2021, was a timely reminder that building surveyors around the country need to ensure that when certifying plans and inspecting residential buildings on site, that all structural elements are compliant with the NCC, including earthquake action.

This webinar training event will cover the determination and definitions of loading actions that a dwelling will be subject to. This knowledge will improve your understanding of the “why” and hence how, to design and build the structural framing elements to comply with the structural requirements of the National Construction Code.
