Fire Indicator Panels – How They Work and How to Interpret Them

Join us for an informative webinar, “Fire Indicator Panels – How They Work and How to Interpret Them.” Designed specifically for Building Surveyors, this session will provide valuable insights into the operation, interpretation, and compliance significance of Fire Indicator Panels (FIPs) within building fire safety systems.

Hear from Station Officer Phil Evans with the South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service as he shares his perspective on understanding FIPs, including the role of Hot Smoke Testing and their relevance to building compliance, performance verification, and fire safety outcomes. This will be followed by a contractor-led session covering real-world applications, common system issues, troubleshooting techniques, and lessons learned from the field.

The webinar will conclude with a live Q&A panel discussion, providing attendees with the opportunity to engage directly with presenters and gain clarity on practical and compliance-related considerations associated with fire detection and alarm systems.

Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your understanding of Fire Indicator Panels and strengthen your confidence in assessing and interpreting fire safety systems within the built environment.
