This event will take delegates through the fundamentals of interpreting and assessing energy efficiency documentation provided with applications relevant to Volume 1 of the NCC. It is intended primarily to serve the needs of building surveyors performing statutory building surveying functions – certification, authorisation of construction – and will also be helpful for anyone in the design space, energy efficiency consulting space, and the like. It is designed to support those who are new to the sector, giving a bottom-up perspective of the requirements and how they should be interpreted and applied. It will also be a great way for experienced delegates to refresh their knowledge on these provisions. Delegates will be taken through a pragmatic description of the DTS pathways to demonstration of compliance and the Verification Methods that are available for use in demonstration of compliance with the Performance Requirements. Stepping away from a focus on what has changed in these provisions recently, this session provides a wholistic view of the compliance framework and how to get the most out of it. Note: Take the mystery out of Section J – A 101 series event on Residential energy efficiency (Class 1) Webinar will be run on the 19th November
