2026 AIBS Symposium

AIBS is excited to launch a national NCC BCA 2025 Symposium, designed to elevate industry understanding of the major revisions coming into force next year.

This high-impact event will equip building surveyors - and all professionals involved in the built environment - with the insight, context, and confidence needed to interpret and apply the new requirements.

The Symposium will run virtually across three (3) non-consecutive days in March 2026:

  • Thursday 19 March
  • Tuesday 24 March
  • Thursday 26 March

Open to all who wish to participate, the Symposium offers and accessible, flexible, and expertly curated learning experience.

This deeper contextual understanding will empower building surveyors to better assess performance solutions and, just as importantly, to educate industry stakeholders, applicants, and clients on the why behind NCC BCA requirements — not just the what.

Following each session, delegates will have 15 minutes of direct Q&A with the presenters, ensuring rich discussion, practical insights, and the opportunity to clarify how the changes will influence day-to-day professional practice.

The 2025 Symposium will be a cornerstone event for anyone committed to staying at the forefront of building standards, performance, and compliance.
